Job Title: Finance Manager

Behavior Treatment Analysis (BTA) is an Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) agency dedicated to providing services to individuals with developmental disabilities. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Finance Manager to oversee our financial operations, including billing processes, and to lead our finance team to ensure optimal performance and results.

Responsibilities:

Financial Policy Development: Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and best practices.

Financial Operations Management: Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting to ensure the organization’s financial health.

Strategic Financial Planning: Provide strategic financial analysis to support decision-making and organizational growth.

Financial Reporting: Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to internal and external stakeholders, including the Board of Directors, funders, and auditors.

Billing and Revenue Cycle Management: Supervise the billing department to ensure efficient and accurate billing processes, timely collections, and compliance with payer requirements.

Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the finance and billing teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

Cash Flow and Investment Management: Monitor and manage cash flow, investments, and debt financing activities to maintain financial stability.

Internal Controls Implementation: Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and prevent financial mismanagement.

External Relationship Management: Manage relationships with external financial partners, such as banks, investors, and auditors.

Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain financial models and projections to support business planning and decision-making.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.

Experience: Minimum of 2-4 years in financial management or accounting, preferably within a healthcare or ABA agency setting.

Billing Expertise: Proven experience in managing billing operations, including knowledge of insurance billing, coding, and collections processes.

Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a finance team, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic approach to financial management.

Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software; experience with billing software is a plus.

Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance standards relevant to the healthcare industry.
