Job Summary:
The Entry-Level PR and Communications Assistant will be responsible for supporting the PR and Communications Director in executing and maintaining the company's public relations and communications efforts. The successful candidate will also have experience in producing and editing podcasts and will help manage the company's podcast channels.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the planning and execution of PR and communications campaigns, including press releases, media outreach, and social media content creation
- Help maintain the company's social media channels and assist with managing the editorial calendar
- Produce and edit podcast episodes, including researching topics, conducting pre- interviews, and managing the production process from start to finish
- Assist with managing the company's podcast channels, including distribution and promotion
- Monitor media coverage and prepare reports on media mentions and impact
- Help prepare and distribute internal communications to employees
- Support the organization and execution of events, including trade shows and conferences
- Other duties as assigned by the PR and Communications Manager
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field (recent graduates are welcome to apply)
- Some experience in public relations and communications, with a focus on social media and media relations (internship or school projects)
- Experience producing and editing podcasts (internship or personal experience)
- Excellent writing and editing skills, with a strong attention to detail
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Experience with social media management tools and content creation (school projects or personal experience)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time
- Ability to view a computer screen for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
Conditions of Employment:
- Ability to obtain/maintain criminal record clearance through the Department of Justice
- The People & Performance department must analyze DOJ/FBI live scan reports in accordance with applicable federal, State and local laws
- Must have a valid California Driver's License. Maintain a clean driving record. Show proof of auto insurance
- Must adhere to all federal, state and local laws/legislation as applicable as well as HIPAA laws and regulatory agencies
- Must pass health screenings, obtain vaccinations and clear TB testing based on company policies
- Ability to obtain and maintain CPR certificate
- Must attend all BTA required training
- Must be vaccinated and boosted (if eligible) against COVID-19 upon being hired. Behavior Treatment & Analysis adheres to all CDC health and safety guidelines.
